The fourth and final day of the Óbidos Game Dev Sessions closed with a sense of reflection and inspiration

The Óbidos Game Dev Sessions 2025 came to a close with an atmosphere of reflection, inspiration and anticipation for the future. Once again, the fourth and final day brought themes linked to digital art, animation, technical development, and the importance of training and collaboration between sectors to the Praça da Criatividade stage.

Attendance remained high, with hundreds of interested parties following the talks in real time from different parts of the country and abroad via online streaming over the four days.

The Game Dev Sessions have established themselves as a meeting place for the gaming industry, academia, emerging talent and creative communities, offering a solid programme that is free and accessible to all. Óbidos is thus reinforcing its position as a territory of cultural and technological innovation by embracing a collaborative and open model.
